Full Description

SK 1800 9070: Green Sitches, Neolithic Flint: Scatter of flint, chert and stone found 1938-1951, by A.H. Henderson. Originally the area was a bare patch with implements coming from the grey sand level. It is now grassed. The implements included leaf and petit tranchet derivative arrowheads, scrapers, cores, a knife a borer and waste material. Now in Sheffield City Museum. (1)
