K6 Telephone Box on Bretby Village Green, Bretby, built in 1935. From the National Heritage List: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 21 May 2024 to correct a typo in the name and address and to reformat the text to current standards SK 22 SE 2/122 PARISH OF BRETBY THE GREEN K6 Telephone Box on Bretby Village Green GV II The asset was previously listed twice also under the parish of Bretby under List Entry 1253038. This entry was removed from the List on 01/12/2014. Telephone box. 1935, designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Cast iron with wooden door. Square box of K6 type with segmental domed top. Door and sides have margin light glazing and top has etched glass panels inscribed 'telephone' with raised crowns above. Included for group value only. Listing NGR: SK2953623217' (1)
