Heath End Lodge, Heath End Lane, Calke, a 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF CALKE HEATH END LANE SK 32 SE 4/30 (West Side) 1-7-68 Heath End Lodge (formerly listed as Lodge to Calke Park SE Entrance) GV II Lodge to Calke Park. C1805 by William Wilkins Snr. Rendered brick, lined to look like ashlar. Hipped Welsh slate roofs with ridge stack. Two storeys. Canted end to drive has three glazing bar sashes to ground floor, and two smaller glazing bar sashes and blind opening above. Porch to east with open round arched entrance on two sides, with impost bands and matching blind arch to rear. Panelled door. Lower range to south has 2-light casements to each floor. Built for Sir Henry Harpur. Listing NGR: SK3708421645.' (1)
