Home Farmhouse, Calke, an 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 32 SE 4/26 PARISH OF CALKE CALKE PARK Home Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Early and late C18. Red brick with plain tile roofs. Stone coped gables with plain kneelers. Two brick gable stacks, a ridge stack and a lateral stack. Two storeys. T-plan with a long rear range. The head of the T is probably early C18 and has a plain first floor band. Two bay south elevation has two segment headed 2-light casements, the right hand one set in a former doorway. Similar blocked window to the right. One 2-light casement above with flat arch. West elevation of four broad bays. To the right a projecting entrance bay with panelled door. The rest of the elevation treated as two double fronted ranges, each with central segment headed doorway with panelled door, flanked by 3-light segment headed casements. Four 3-light casements above under flat arches. East elevation has segment headed windows to ground floor and flat-arched windows above. Listing NGR: SK3717422390' (1)
