Deer fence east of grotto, Calke Park, Calke, built in the 19th century. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF CALKE CALKE PARK SK 32 SE 4/25 Deer Fence East of Grotto in Calke Park GV II Deer fence. Mid C19. Wrought iron. Plain stick railings with scroll support brackets to the east. Pair of similar gates with curved braces, gate piers with ball finials. Fifteen bays to the south and twenty five bays to the north. Ramped to the ends, with brick piers. Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK3701922689.' (1)
