Muse Lane Farm farmhouse and garden wall, Muse Lane, Church Broughton, a mid 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 13 SE PARISH OF CHURCH BROUGHTON MUSE LANE 2/14 (East Side) Muse Lane Farmhouse and attached garden wall II Farmhouse. Mid C18. Red brick with stone dressings. Plain tile roof with stone coped gables with plain and moulded kneelers. Brick gable end stacks. First floor brick band and sawtooth eaves cornice. Two storeys, plus garrets. West elevation of three symmetrical bays. Central doorway with cambered gauged brick head with keystone. Panelled door with glazed overlight, flanked on each side by 3-light wooden casement windows with nine panes and two pane opening casement. Gauged brick cambered heads with keystones. Three similar windows above, the central one narrower. Three roof dormers above with 2-light windows and hipped roofs. Lower two storey bay to right. Attached brick wall with rounded stone copings, enclosing front garden. Listing NGR: SK1775333334.' (1)
