Gate piers and attached walls. C18 gate piers with C19 walls, both restored in C20. Built for the Earl of Harrington. Stone. Two 12 feet high square piers, with low ashlar walls to either side, topped by ridgeback copings, each ramping up at the junction with the piers. The piers have a square fillet taken out of each corner and moulded bases. West side of each pier is rusticated and has a carved frieze with the shield of the Earl of Harrington. Other sides of the piers are plain. Above each has a moulded cornice topped by a large ball finial.
