Corner House, No. 13 The Green, Findern, an early 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF FINDERN THE GREEN SK 33 SW 1/26 (East Side) No 13 Corner House II House. Early C18. Cement rendered brick, plain tile roof with brick coped gables with plain kneelers. Gable stacks. L-plan. Two storeys. Symmetrical three bay west elevation has first and second floor bands. Central C20 gabled porch enclosing a doorway with flat arch and C20 door. Flanked on each side by C19 glazing bar sashes under wedge lintels. Three similar windows above, the centre one blind. Interior: Small winder staircase at attic level with splat balusters, chamfered handrail and ball finials. Stop chamfered principal beams. Remains of an inglenook in the rear wing. One upper room has a bolection moulded chimneypiece. Listing NGR: SK3088630538.' (1)
