Former village school, No. 32 Twyford Road, Barrow upon Trent, built in 1843.

Village school. 1843. Jacobean style. Red brick with sandstone dressings. Plain tile roof with stone coped shaped gables with finials and a bellcote on the west gable. Single storey. The south elevation has three symmetrical bays to the right with a small central ogee gable enclosing a sunk panel carved with coats of arms and the date 1843. Three 2-light recessed and chamfered mullion windows. Additional bay to left has a projecting porch with shaped gable. Chamfered stone doorcase with four-centred arch and two shields in sunk panels above. C20 door. Gable ends have large 4-light casement windows under chamfered stone lintels.
