Monks Flood Bridge, Derby Road, Egginton, a late 18th century structure. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF EGGINTON OFF DERBY ROAD SK 22 NE 2/16 (South Side) Monk's Flood Bridge II Road bridge carrying the old Derby to Burton road. Late C18. Coursed squared sandstone and sandstone ashlar. Small single segmental arch. Plain band at the base of the parapet. The parapet walls curve out at each end to octagonal end piers with shallow pyramidal tops. Rounded copings. Listing NGR: SK2699927043.' (1)
