Wigwell Grange, off B5035, Wirksworth, of 19th century date. From the National Heritage List for England: 'WIGWELL 1. 1839 Wigwell Grange SK 35 SW 6/35 24.10.50. II* 2. Regency. Ashlar; 2 storeys; convex bays at sides; 5 sash windows; cornice hood porch with coupled pilasters, surmounted by a balustrade with ball-head finials; parapet with ball-head finials. A 3-light convex bay to returned side on right. On the site of an earlier house and a monastic grange of the convent at Derby. Listing NGR: SK3063454385.' (1)
