Hargate House Farm farmhouse, Egginton Road, Hilton, a mid-18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 23 SE PARISH OF HILTON EGGINTON ROAD 4/31 (East Side) Hargate House Farmhouse II Farmhouse. Mid C18, altered in early C19 and with later alterations. Rendered brick with steeply pitched plain tile roof and rendered brick coped gables, also brick gable stacks and coved eaves band. Plinth and first floor plain band. Two storeys, plus garrets and three bays. Central C20 glazed porch over raised and fielded panelled door with divided overlight, set in plain surround. To either side, glazing bar sashes and three similar windows above, all with shutters. Interior has inglenook fireplaces and chamfered ceiling beams. Listing NGR: SK2572730365.' (1)
