Cottage adjoining Homestead Farm, Main Street, Elton, a late 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 26 SW PARISH OF ELTON EAST END 5/8 (North Side) Cottage adjoining Homestead Farm Cottage GV II House. Late C18. Coursed rubble gritstone, quoins, single gable ridge chimney at east end, Welsh slate roof. Two storeys, two bays with casements set into stone frames. Central doorway with C20 porch. Lower two-storey range with coped gable and end ridge stack attached at east end, with former doorway with massive lintel and drip mould, now blocked to form window. Lower range of single storey outbuildings with plain tiled roof attached to gable end. Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK2230860953.' (1)
