Boat House at Tithe Cottage, Church Close, Melbourne, originally built in 1840. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 38/3925 PARISH OF MELBOURNE CHURCH CLOSE 6/96 (South Side) Boat House at Tithe Cottage GV II Boat house. c1840. Ashlar with stone dressings and long red clay tile roof with moulded stone coped gables. Single storey, single bay. North elevation has segment headed doorcase with returned hoodmould and plank door, and south elevation has wide pointed arch, also with returned hoodmould. Interior has one sawn timber king post truss. Included for group value only. Listing NGR: SK3891624935.' (1)
