No. 62 Church Street and attached smithy, Melbourne, a late 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 38/3925 PARISH OF MELBOURNE CHURCH STREET 6/102 (South Side) No 62 and Attached Smithy GV II House and attached smithy. Late C18 with later alterations. Red brick with first floor band and C20 plain tile roof with one large rendered ridge stack and one smaller brick ridge stack, plus dentilled eaves band to house. Smithy is coursed rubble stone with C20 plain tile roof plus glazed roof lights and brick gable stack to west. House has two storeys and three bays; three bay, single storey smithy attached to east. Main elevation of house has three segment headed casement windows with a segment headed doorcase with panelled door between the western two windows. Above there are three similar windows. All windows have two pane fixed lights or casements. The smithy has two flat headed 2-light casement windows to west and an open bay to east with weatherboarding to east wall.
