Nos. 50-54 Potter Street, Melbourne, a mid-18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 38/3925 PARISH OF MELBOURNE POTTER STREET 6/163 (South Side) 18.2.71 Nos 50, 52 & 54 GV II Terrace of three cottages, now partly offices. Mid C18 withminor later alterations. Rendered brick on stone plinth with plain first and second floor bands. Steeply pitched plain tile roof with large central brick ridge stack and gable brick stack to west, also with stone coped gables on plain kneelers and stepped and dentilled eaves band. Two storeys, plus attics to Nos 50 and 52, and garret to Nos 54, each cottage is single bay. No 54 to east has segment headed doorcase with flush panelled door to west and segment headed 3-light horizontal sliding glazing bar sash to east. Above one similar window and a 2-light segment headed garret window to east gable wall. No 52 has similar openings to ground floor except reversed. Above similar 3-light window to west and a single light segment headed casement window over the door. Above again a flat headed 3-light horizontal sliding glazing bar sash. No 50 to west has a flat headed doorcase to east with plank door and two 2-light segment headed windows to west, that to east with small pane casements, and that to west with horizontal sliding glazing bar sash. Above, one central 3-light horizontal sliding, glazing bar sash and above again a similar flat headed 3-light window. Listing NGR: SK3878525188.' (1)
