Oak Stone House, Rake Lane, Middleton and Smerrill, a late 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 16 SE PARISH OF MIDDLETON AND SMERRILL RAKE LANE (off) 4/45 Outbuildings to the north of Kings Croft GV II Outbuildings. Late C18. Rubble limestone with quoins, plain tiled roof. Stepped range, two storey at east end, single storey to west end. Massive stone frames- to three doorways and first floor taking-in door. Lower part has double width opening beneath a massive lintel. Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK1948363209.' (1)
