Full Description

Stenson Lock Cottage, Stenson Lock, Twyford and Stenson, a late 18th or early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF TWYFORD AND STENSON STENSON LANE, SK 32 NW 3/106 (East -Side) Stenson Lock Cottage II GV Cottage. Late C18 and early C19. Red brick, plain tile roofs with brick gable stacks. Two storeys. South elevation of three bays. Double fronted earlier part to right has a central segment headed doorway with plank door, flanked by 2-light casements with segment heads. Two 2-light windows above under wooden lintels. Taller bay to left has a 2-light segment headed window to ground floor and a 2-light above under a wooden lintel. The earlier part has beamed ceilings. Listing NGR: SK3258529930.' (1)
