Stenson House, Stenson Lane, Twyford and Stenson, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 18 April 2023 to correct a typo in the description and to reformat the text to current standards SK 33 SW 1/108 PARISH OF TWYFORD AND STENSON STENSON STENSON LANE (North Side) Stenson House II House. Early C19. Red brick and ashlar. Hipped Welsh slate roof, twin gabled to north. Ashlar gable stacks and two ridge stacks. Heavy moulded cornice and plain first floor band. Two storeys. Symmetrical three bay south elevation, ashlar faced. Central doorway with plain stone doorcase with shallow hoodmould. Panelled door with rectangular overlight. Flanked on each side by glazing bar sashes under keyed wedge stone lintels. Three similar windows above. East elevation of red brick with stone quoins and stringcourse, has two similar windows to each floor. The west elevation has casements under wedge stone lintels. Listing NGR: SK3260430066.' (1)
