James Cottage, Main Street, Kniveton, an early 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 25 SW PARISH OF KNIVETON MAIN STREET 2/73 (West Side) James Cottage GV II Cottage. Early C18 with later alterations. Coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. Tiled roof with brick gable end stack. Two-storeys. Flush stone quoins. One 3-light chamfered stone mullion window to ground and to first floor. c1970s porch. Listing NGR: SK2070450184.' (1)
