The Garden House, Malcoff Road, Chapel en le Frith, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 08 SE TOWN OF CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH MALCOFF ROAD 4/33 (West Side) 21.4.67 Garden House, (formerly listed as Garden House, Ford Hall) GV II House. Early C19, Coursed gritstone rubble with quoins. Gritstone dressings. Modern tile roof with stone ridge. Stone gable end and ridge stacks. Two storey, three bay front. East elevation - semi-circular headed doorcase with quoin surround. Raised and fielded six panelled door. Plain fanlight over. To either side, glazing bar sash. To north, large inserted C20 small pane window. Above, four glazing bar sashes. Rear elevation has C20 mullioned windows. Included for group value Listing NGR: SK0759582245.' (1)
