From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 08 SE TOWN OF CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH WASH LANE 4/66 (North Side) Tombstone at Friends Burial Ground 4.5 metres north of Chestnut Farmhouse GV II Tombstone. 1685. Gritstone slab, broken top. Approximately 3 feet high. Inscribed 'T R Buried 2nd 10th MONTH ANO 1685 and gr DEPARTED THIS LIFE 1712 OF OCTOBER 1735 Agc' Listing NGR: SK0756081936.' (1)
