Slacke Hall, off Sheffield Road, Chapel en le Frith, built c1835. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 08 SE TOWN OF CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH SHEFFIELD ROAD 4/61 (East Side) Slack Hall II House, c1835. Ashlar gritstone. Hipped slate roof. Stone side wall stacks. Two storeys. Three bay front with central bay slightly advanced. Central portico with Tuscan columns. Plain entablature. Moulded cornice above, topped by low parapet wall with shallow central pediment. Steps up to glazed panelled door with narrow lights to either side. Shallow stone plinth. Plain sashes either side of portico with two chamfered panels below. Above, three plain sashes. Plain sill band across two side bays. Full height pilasters at both corners.
