No. 96 Osmaston Road, Derby, a late 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'OSMASTON ROAD 1. 5170 No 96 SK 3535 6/214 II 2. Late C19. A large Gothic style villa. Red brick with stone dressings; 2 storeys and basement. Front has 2 stone-coped gables with wrought iron finials; canted bay to left, tiered over 2 storeys, and window with cusped, pointed arched heads end pilasters with foliated capitals; rounded bay on right with mullioned windows, those at centre with cusped, arched heads and with rusticated, pointed arched surround and quatrefoils, the whole surmounted by slate pinnacle; recessed bay on left with doorway in pointed arched surround with pilaster sides; oak batten door with elaborate face-hinges; quatrefoil in left-hand gable; slate roof with ornamental ridge. Long wing at rear with return side or similar character. Listing NGR: SK3550135523.' (1)
