Pynot Cottage, School Lane, Beeley, probably a 17th or 18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF BEELEY SCHOOL LANE SJ 26 NE 5/44 (South Side) Pynot Cottage GV II Cottage. Probably C17 and C18. Coursed squared gritstone with gritstone dressings. Stone slate roof, coped gables with moulded kneelers. Ashlar gable stack and one ridge stack. Two storeys. North elevation of three bays. The two storey part has two casements to the ground floor with stone surrounds. In the centre a 2-light staircase window with square section flush mullion and surround. Two similar 2-light windows above. Single storey wing to east has a doorway with stone surround and parapet above. Shallow bracketed hood. Listing NGR: SK2668667512.' (1)
