Full Description

Water trough, Chatsworth Road, Edensor, of mid-19th century date. From the National Heritage List for England: 'PARISH OF EDENSOR CHATSWORTH ROAD SK 26 NE 5/96 (West Side) Water Trough North West of Bridge House GV II Water trough and retaining wall. Mid C19. Coursed squared sandstone and ashlar. Long low retaining wall with rounded copings, ramped up to centre where it turns inwards to form a recess. Canted trough with roll moulding and spout for the fountain above. Included for group value only. Listing NGR: SK2593068496.' (1)
