No. 13 Sturston Road, Ashbourne, a 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 14 NE 1/178 STURSTON ROAD (South side) No 13 GV II Late C18/early C19. Part of the same terrace as Nos 7-11 and No 15. Roughcast with tiled roof. Two storeys, one window; modern casements and door. Above the door is a plaque:- "In this house Catherine Mumford was born on 17th January 1829. In 1855, she married William Booth and later became known as the Mother of the Salvation Army." Nos 7 to 15 (odd) form a group. Listing NGR: SK1820346347.' (1)
