Monument record MDR2531 - SDAS 127 Pottery and flint scatter, northeast of Round Lodge, Walton upon Trent

Type and Period (1)

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

Flint and pottery scatter (18.7 flints per ha) picked up during field walking. Flint artefacts included a barbed and tanged arrowhead. (1) Andy Myers suggests that this barbed and tanged arrowhead looks from the illustration more like a petit-tranchet derivative arrowhead, whilst another piece (127/104) looks like a simple plano-convex knife.
