No. 6 Bright Street, North Wingfield, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 46 SW PARISH OF NORTH WINGFIELD BRIGHT STREET 4/17 (South Side) The Homestead GV II House. Early C19. Coursed squared sandstone with sandstone dressings. Slate roof with stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Stone gable end stacks. Two storeys. East elevation of three bays. Flush angle quoins and projecting eaves band. Central doorway with moulded stone surround and dripmould. C20 door. Flanked on each side by windows with flush stone jambs and lintel and projecting sill,and plain sashes. Above the doorway, a round arched window with stone surround with projecting impost blocks and plain sash. Flanked on each side by plain sashes and dressed stone surrounds. West elevation with a staircase window, single light with a transom. Listing NGR: SK4088864982.' (1)
