Full Description

An ancient ashlar-lined well known as St Anne's Well, now almost hidden by undergrowth, is in a small close on Parsons Hills called "St Anne's Well Close" and in 1825 "Holy Well Hills". (1) The well is now [in 1966] almost silted up. No dating evidence available. Published survey (25") correct. (2)
