Full Description

SK 297379. The semi circular enclosure with rough ground marked on the OS 6in sheet represents the site of a windmill marked on Senior's map of 1640 and Wilson's map of 1682. The area known as Langley Common was in the 17th century known as Windmill Moor. (1)
