Full Description

SK 10 71: Deepdale, Round Barrow: A mutilated barrow, close to the verge of some limestone rocks overhanging Deepdale, about a mile north-west of Chelmorton, was examined by T. Bateman in September 1859 but only cremated bone and flint was found. (1) This barrow was not located [1966]. (2) The barrow cannot now be located [1989]. (3)
