"A large Roman knife was found on Mr. Gell's estate near Brassington moor, by some labourers in making a plantation among some rocks, not far from the tumulus ... [SK 25 NW 26]. It is of iron, 14 ins. long ... Now the property of Mr.Rooke ..." (1) No further information. (2)
