Full Description
SK 20605649; SK 20605650; SK 20575648; SK 20655670. Four barrows forming the Daisy Bank group to the east of Royston Grange. The largest measures 18 x 18 x 1½ metres, the smallest 5 x 5 x 1 metres. Only one of the four appears to be in any way disturbed (that at SK 20575648). (1). Barnatt records three possible barrows in this region as 10:D (SK20635663), 10:E (SK20605655) and 10:F (SK20605650). They are all small, ploughed-over mounds which are on the course of the mineral vein and are probably spoil tips. (2).
