Full Description

A collection of flint artefacts recovered in about 1973, after ploughing. This includes four batterback Rod Points, four narrow blades (one with a parrothook secondary working), a fragment of a leaf shaped arrowhead and a large pestle stone. (1,2). Other artifacts have been recovered from SK 2198 5790 including brown flint microliths and a leaf shaped arrowhead, and from SK 2200 5785, a blade and two scrapers. (3).
