A hollow rib handle, dating to the late 14 to 15 century and many flint flakes (no tools) were found during field-walking in c.1977. The pottery was well-weathered, in an orange paste with traces of a greeny-brown glaze. The artefacts remained with the finder, Mr R Boam. (1).
