Full Description

Material from Radfords area 4 contains four fragments and a large rim fragment of Iron Age pottery, with thumb impressed decoration around the shoulder and finger tip decoration around the rim. The material was recovered by D. Vallance and F. Radford following ploughing (from box 2). Three sherds of Iron Age pottery were also recovered from spoil heaps below Harborough Cave. The sherds were from Globular vessels with a rounded rim and had limestone grog (from box 31). (1)
