Full Description

Latest in the line of farmsteads at Roystone. Built in 18th century, with subsequent addition both to the house and the farm buildings. The phasing was revealed following removal of plaster and extensive renovation in 1990 following sale of farm house and splitting up of estate. (1). Photographic record. (2). Grade II listed farmhouse and barn dating from the late 18th century with 19th and 20th century additions and constructed of coursed rubble limestone, partly pebble dashed, and gritstone dressings. (3).
