Full Description

[SK 2535 2813]. Barrow reported by C. James, Sheffield 1958. (1). The area in which this alleged barrow is sited has been extensively disturbed by surface lead mining, and no evidence for an antiquity can be seen. The feature reported above may have been confused with one of the numerous waste heaps scattered over the region. (2) Authority 2 is correct. (3). Barnatt rejects this mound as a barrow. This area has extensive lead mining. (4).
