Manor House, No. 9 High Street, Bonsall, built c1670. 'Grade II listed manor house built c1670 to a T-shaped plan. It is of coursed limestone rubble with sandstone dressings and with mullioned windows beneath continuous string courses. The building is three storeys high with an attic and has coped gables and dormers with finials. The interior has been altered. (1) From the National Heritage List for England: '1. HIGH STREET 1390 BONSALL No 9 (Manor House) SK 25 NE 6/7 22.6.50. II 2. Circa 1670. Restored. Coursed stone rubble; 2 storeys; 1 2-light mullioned window above and below; chamfered square-headed doorway. Advanced gabled wing on left-hand side of 3 storeys and attic has 1 altered 5-light mullioned window to ground floor, 1 4-light mullioned window to 2nd storey and 1 3-light mullioned window above; moulded stone bands. Moulded cornices; stone gabled ends; old stone tiles. Contains original internal wood shutters and window pelmets with pendants. Listing NGR: SK2788958355.' (2)
