Full Description

A partly ruined former show cave with very interesting geology, spectacular faulting and mineral deposits. It has been partly mined. (1) There are several entrances to Long Tor Mine in the vicinity of Long Tor Quarry. Long Tor Mine is a complex series of old lead mine workings on different levels of the hillside between North Parade and Long Tor Quarry. (2)
