Full Description

Roman period ditch discovered during excavation of facilities for caravan site. Ditch of V-section with early C2 to C4 A.D. lead, glass iron, coin of Arcadius circa 400 A.D., building remains, querns and tesserae. (1) Excavated M. Wildgoose JUN-83 and OCT-84.
