Full Description

At SK 29285004 is the remains of a homestead moat. Utilizing a deep stream on the north, the west and south arms remain. Local informants stated that the island was ploughed between 1939-45 but no building remains were seen. Surveyed at 1/2500. (1) Reviewed (2026) faint earthworks still visible on both LiDAR (2) and aerial photography.
