Full Description

A series of sunken lanes were identified running north-south to the west of Dark Lane which meet in a low lying and evidently wet area to the north of Topshill Brook. Possible additional earthworks (platforms?) were visible adjacent to the road. There was some indication of less pronounced but related features to the east of Dark Lane close to the Brook. (1)
