SK 058 729: London Road, ?Roman Road: Traces of a paved road were apparently found at a depth of 600mm (2ft) at the junction of London Road and Leek Road. (1, 2) No date is given for the finding of the paved road, but it must pre-date the creation of the NDAT index in 1977/78. (3)
