Full Description

[Area SK 210 684] A long line of lynchets on the hill-side immediately west of Bakewell Church. (1) Extensive area of strip lynchets centred at SK 207 685. (2) The terraces are generally about 0.6m high although one or two attain 1.6m. (3) Numerous areas of medieval strip lynchets and ridge and furrow identified during field survey in 2002.
