Full Description

Mound 180 ft W of the initial mound excavated by J Ward in Aug 1887. Yielded only animal bone and stag's horn. (1) Described as small circular mound with top removed as no burial was found. It was not certainly a barrow as no burial was found, it may have been a clearance heap or fortuitous. (4)
