Full Description

Prior to 1937 excavation for a new road revealled a metalled track adjacent to the old bridge, leading to the river. The track was of packhorse width, with a kerb on either side, and metalled in gravel and rubble. It appeared to be orientated west-east. (1, 2) Photographic record. (3)
