Full Description
SK 059 722: London Road, Cottage of Content: A grade II listed cottage that was reputedly built in 1620. It is of two storeys, and of random rubble. Modern fenestration to front, with original three-light stone mullions to the rear, with partially leaded lights. So-named apparently because one former occupant was reputed to be a contented man. It is assumed that this building has been delisted, as it no longer appears on the National Heritage List for England [2016]. (3)
