Full Description

'Cross (Remains of)' is shown on the 1st ed. 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880. (1) Grade II listed cross comprising a medieval gritstone cross-shaft stump, octagonal in section, set in a square base and mounted on three stone steps. The cross base has a 20th century inscription recording the repair of the monument to commemorate the Coronation of their Majesties, King George Vith and Queen Elizabeth in 1937. (3).
